He completed his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the prestigious K.E.M. College & Hospital, Mumbai, and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB), New Delhi.

Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Kanbur pursued advanced training with a French Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Clermont-Ferrand and a Fellowship in Cosmetic Gynaecology from Italy, placing him at the forefront of modern, minimally invasive and aesthetic gynaecological care.
