Al Diyafa Medical Group (“we”, “our”, “the clinic”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit aldiyafaclinic.com, how we use it, and what choices you have. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards for handling patient information.

What we collect

We collect three categories of information:

• Information you give us when you fill in a booking or contact form: your name, mobile number, email (optional), preferred clinic, preferred service, insurance information, and any notes you choose to share with the doctor.
• Information your browser sends automatically: IP address, browser type, pages you visit, time spent on each page. This is used to understand how the website is performing — never tied to your name.
• Cookies — small text files saved by your browser. We use a small number of essential cookies for the website to function, plus optional analytics cookies that we only set if you give consent. See our cookie banner.

What we don’t collect on this website

This website never collects medical history, prescriptions, lab results, or any clinical information. All clinical data is held inside the clinic’s own systems and is never accessible from the public website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your booking or enquiry — a real receptionist, not a bot, replies by WhatsApp, phone, or email.
• To confirm your appointment and share pre-arrival information.
• To handle insurance pre-approval if you’ve shared your insurance card details.
• To improve the website — aggregate, anonymous analytics only.

Who sees your information

Booking and contact form submissions are routed to the reception team at the clinic you selected. Insurance details, when shared, are forwarded to our insurance coordinator and (with your consent) to your insurer for pre-approval. We do not share your information with marketing companies, advertisers, or any third party that isn’t directly involved in your care.

How long we keep it

• Booking enquiries: 12 months from the last contact.
• General contact-form messages: 12 months.
• Analytics data: aggregated and retained for up to 26 months (Google Analytics default).
• Patient clinical records are governed by DHA retention rules and are held in our clinical systems, not in this website.

Your rights

Under UAE PDPL you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it if it’s wrong
• Ask us to delete it (subject to clinical record-retention rules)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office

Security

The website uses HTTPS (TLS encryption) for all form submissions. Form submissions are stored on infrastructure hosted in the UAE / EU. We do not store credit-card numbers or banking details on this website — payment for services happens at the clinic, not online.

Third-party services

We use:

• Google Analytics 4 — only after you accept analytics cookies. You can opt out at any time via the cookie banner.
• Google Maps — embedded for clinic locations. Google may set its own cookies inside the embedded map; this is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
• WhatsApp — when you click a “WhatsApp us” link, you leave our website and enter Meta’s WhatsApp service, governed by their privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts are served from Google’s servers. No personal data is collected by font requests.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking healthcare for themselves or their family. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16 directly. Parents and guardians who book paediatric appointments on behalf of a child should review this policy.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when we add new features (for example, online payments) or when UAE law changes. The “Last reviewed” date at the top of this page tells you when it was last updated.
